- Lead the development and execution of global commercial strategies across international markets outside the United States.
- Identify, prioritize, and segment target markets while defining tailored go-to-market approaches by geography and therapeutic indication.
- Develop strategic market entry plans, including indication prioritization and long-term commercialization roadmaps.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical and Regulatory teams to align development programs with commercial opportunities and global market requirements.
- Influence clinical trial design, sequencing, and development strategies to maximize international market potential.
- Partner with Market Access teams to evaluate reimbursement landscapes, pricing dynamics, and health technology assessment requirements across key regions.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to international pricing strategies, reference pricing frameworks, and reimbursement policies.
- Lead business development activities related to international partnerships, licensing opportunities, co-promotion models, and regional collaborations.
- Conduct detailed market assessments, competitive analyses, epidemiology reviews, and commercial forecasting activities to support strategic planning.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations and strategic insights to senior leadership teams to support investment and commercialization decisions.
- Manage external partner relationships to ensure successful execution of commercial strategies in priority markets.
- 10+ years of commercial experience within the biopharmaceutical industry, including global or ex-U.S. marketing leadership.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing multi-market commercial strategies within international healthcare environments.
- Strong background in chronic disease markets; cardiovascular experience is highly preferred.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, Market Access, and Business Development teams.
- Strong understanding of global reimbursement systems, pricing strategies, and health technology assessment processes across major international markets.
- Experience influencing development programs and clinical strategies during early-stage or pre-commercial phases; Phase II or earlier experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships and licensing agreements.
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance complex global and U.S. commercial priorities while navigating competitive market dynamics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities within matrixed organizations.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, emerging biotech or clinical-stage environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 20% as required.
