The Senior Accountant will play a key part in strengthening month-end close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX standards, and improving accounting workflows across a high-volume organization. Working closely with Finance, Accounting leadership, and cross-functional business teams, you will contribute to accurate reporting, financial insights, and scalable processes. - Lead key components of the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries for balance sheet and expense accounts, as well as recurring accruals and adjustments.
- Maintain and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
- Perform detailed variance analysis on monthly financial results and provide actionable insights to business partners on spending trends and financial performance.
- Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies, improve workflows, and strengthen internal controls across financial operations.
- Support audit readiness by assisting with internal, interim, and year-end audit deliverables and coordinating accounting documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across accounting operations.
- Assist with M&A-related accounting activities and provide ad hoc financial analysis as required.
- Cross-train with other accounting team members to ensure continuity and support during close cycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
- Experience in high-volume, large-scale corporate accounting environments with strong exposure to month-end close and general ledger processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables) and experience with Google Sheets.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and familiarity with Accounts Payable tools and accrual accounting processes (Coupa preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present financial insights clearly.

- Competitive total cash compensation ranging from $89,000 to $105,000 USD depending on experience and location
