Operations Research Analyst (ORSA) in Pensacola, Florida at Sellers & Associates

Sellers & Associates LLC is seeking a Operations Research Analyst (ORSA) to support the analysis of Manpower, Personnel, and Training, (MPT) and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) in support of CTC curriculum development and execution.

Experience Level: MID

Location: Pensacola, FL

Travel Allocation: 0% - 10%

Clearance: Secret

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide program management support, including analysis, oversight, and technical advisory services across multiple projects

• Assist in defining program objectives, requirements, and success metrics

• Interface with senior government technical and administrative personnel, as well as contractor teams

• Identify and define data requirements to support program decision-making

• Collect, validate, and analyze data to develop integrated conclusions and actionable insights

• Develop and maintain program planning timelines, schedules, and execution tracking tools

• Track program execution, including financial performance and expenditures

• Prepare program status reports, including financial, technical, and schedule updates

• Support development of:

• Program Management Reviews (PMRs)

• Milestone Decision Briefs and templates

• Implement data-driven recommendations to support program objectives and strategic initiatives

Requirements:   

• Bachelor’s degree in/or: Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or related field
• 3–8+ years of relevant experience in program analysis, operations research, or DoD support environments
• Experience supporting government programs or defense-related initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python, R, or similar)
• Ability to develop briefings, reports, and executive-level deliverables
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting NAVSEA, DoD, or Federal programs
• Familiarity with:
• Program financial tracking
• Acquisition lifecycle processes
• Risk analysis and modeling
• Experience developing decision support models or simulations
• Active security clearance
