We’re looking for a motivated, detail-loving, quality-driven Quality Control Technician to join our Maryland Aggregate Division. If you enjoy testing, troubleshooting, data analysis, teamwork, and seeing the direct impact of your work, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be DoingThink of yourself as the “quality detective” of our operation.
You’ll help ensure the products leaving our plants meet the highest industry standards while working closely with production teams, management, and fellow problem-solvers.
Your Day-to-Day May Include:- Collecting and testing aggregate samples like a pro
- Making sure products meet industry and DOT specifications
- Recording and tracking results in Stonemont QC software
- Analyzing data and spotting trends or quality concerns
- Conducting inspections throughout the production process
- Calibrating and maintaining testing equipment
- Identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
- Working with managers and production teams to solve challenges
- Communicating concerns quickly and helping drive solutions
- Keeping quality standards high and operations running smoothly

- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–5 years of inspection or production experience preferred
(aggregate, asphalt, concrete, or construction materials experience is a big plus) - Comfortable working with fractions, ratios, and measurements
- Computer savvy with Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe, and Windows
- Able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
