Take on a key role in optimizing HR technology systems within a healthcare environment dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children and families. As a Senior HRIS Specialist, you will lead the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD), helping streamline HR operations and enhance employee experiences. You will also support Workday HCM processes, reporting, security, and integrations to ensure reliable and accurate HR information. Working closely with HR, IT, and external vendors, you will translate business needs into scalable technology solutions. This position combines technical expertise, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Your work will help strengthen system integrity, support compliance, and enable HR teams to operate more efficiently.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will oversee HR information systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure that technology solutions meet evolving organizational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • ServiceNow HRSD Administration: Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for ServiceNow HRSD, managing system configuration, maintenance, enhancements, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • HR Service Delivery Optimization: Configure and optimize HR services, case management, employee-facing experiences, workflows, knowledge content, and related functionality to improve HR service delivery.

  • Workday HCM Support: Support Workday HCM business processes, security, reporting, integrations, and data accuracy to maintain effective and reliable HR operations.

  • HR Technology Collaboration: Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to implement and maintain HR information systems, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and coordinate system-related initiatives.

  • Business Process Analysis: Maintain a thorough understanding of HR workflows, policies, procedures, objectives, industry practices, and regulatory requirements to anticipate changing needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Data Integrity and Compliance: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HR applications and databases, monitor system security, ensure compliance with applicable requirements, and participate in audits as needed.

  • Reporting and System Enhancements: Create and modify user tables, develop and execute ad hoc reports, test and validate system changes, and define requirements for new or enhanced application functionality.

  • Implementation and Change Management: Coordinate system updates and implementations, resolve issues using documented procedures, prepare technical documentation, and deliver end-user training.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Coordinate with software vendors on application acquisitions, implementations, and enhancements. Act as the technical liaison between end users and vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs.

  • Continuous Improvement and Collaboration: Identify opportunities to use technology to improve HR processes, support effective working relationships, and contribute to reliable, secure, and user-friendly HR systems.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in HR information systems, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across HR and IT. You should be comfortable managing complex applications, protecting sensitive information, and balancing multiple priorities. Key qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant work-related discipline or field from an accredited college or university.

  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible, directly related professional experience.

  • Hands-on experience administering and configuring ServiceNow HRSD is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Workday HCM is preferred, including supporting business processes, security, reporting, and integrations.

  • A strong understanding of Workday HCM data structures and the ability to maintain accurate, reliable HR information.

  • Knowledge of large-scale HR, benefits, and payroll applications and their operational requirements.

  • Understanding of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to HR and the relevant functional areas.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships, foster consensus, and collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels.

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, including taking a leadership role when needed.

  • A commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

  • The ability to use information technology to drive process improvements and adapt systems to changing business requirements.

  • No specific license or certification is required.

Benefits:

  • Hourly compensation: $58.28–$75.76 per hour, within the stated minimum-to-midpoint salary range.

  • Compensation flexibility: Actual pay is determined by factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment. New team members typically start between the minimum and midpoint of the applicable range.

  • Meaningful healthcare impact: Contribute to the HR technology supporting a healthcare organization focused on children and families.

  • Professional collaboration: Work alongside HR, IT, and external technology partners on important systems and process improvements.

  • Inclusive workplace: Join an organization committed to equal employment opportunity, diversity, and nondiscrimination.
