Accountabilities

In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of warranty claims while ensuring strict adherence to manufacturer policies and dealership requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity across all warranty-related activities.

  • Review warranty claims for compliance with manufacturer policies, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Book, submit, close, and track warranty claims through dealership systems and proprietary platforms
  • Analyze technician notes and repair documentation to apply correct labor operations and coding
  • Manage warranty receivable schedules and resolve discrepancies to support accurate dealer cash flow
  • Collaborate with dealerships to identify process gaps and improve warranty compliance and efficiency
  • Support training and advisory efforts to help service departments align with evolving warranty requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer policies, certifications, and procedural updates
Requirements

This position requires hands-on experience in automotive warranty administration within a franchised dealership environment, along with strong technical and operational knowledge of service and warranty processes.

  • Prior experience as a Warranty Administrator in a franchised automotive dealership is required
  • Strong understanding of automotive service department operations and warranty accounting principles
  • Familiarity with DMS systems and dealership workflow tools
  • Ability to interpret technician narratives and accurately assign labor codes and claim structures
  • Experience working with at least one automotive manufacturer certification or training program
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume transactional work accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support and influence dealership stakeholders remotely
  • Organized, process-driven mindset with strong accountability and consistency
