Summary
We are seeking a solution and result oriented Service Engineer to strengthen our Marine field service and commissioning team in Finland. As a Service Engineer your responsibilities are preventive and breakdown services of HI-FOG water mist fire suppression systems globally. The role requires travelling around 180 days per year mainly in Europe and in USA.
This position reports directly to the Service & Aftermarket Manager - Finland, Marioff Marine, collaborating with the Service & Commissioning Engineers from different service teams Finland, Italy, Spain, Singapore, USA and China
Key responsibilities
- HI-FOG® fire suppression system service and maintenance
- Reporting & documentation of services
- Collaboration with other project team members
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Vocational school education – electrical focus preferred
- Preferably a few years of experience with electrical engineering installations and maintenance
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering technology due to education or work experience
- Willingness to travel frequently, category B driver’s license
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Great communication skills and customer orientated attitude
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good MS Office skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Although not necessary, it would be an advantage:
- Marine industry experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/or automation engineering
- Experience from HI-FOG systems
- Experience with automation technology and/or PLC systemsA (Siemens / Mitsubishi)
- Finnish language knowledge
- Life Saving business experience
