The Role: A Physical Education Teacher fosters a culture of health, wellness, and physical activity. This teacher designs and implements engaging lessons that build students’ physical skills, confidence, teamwork, and knowledge of healthy lifestyles. The Physical Education Teacher may work with all grade levels (K–5) and collaborate with classroom teachers to support the whole child. The Physical Education Teacher will create a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment where students develop physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and healthy lifestyle habits. Responsibilities include supporting school-wide initiatives, reinforcing character development, and promoting positive student engagement through physical education and movement-based learning opportunities.
