Position Overview
KidsPeace is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven professional to support foster care recruitment, training, and retention efforts. This role plays a key part in promoting the organization’s mission, increasing community awareness, and guiding prospective foster parents through the licensing process while ensuring compliance with North Carolina and KidsPeace standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and vision of KidsPeace to increase agency visibility and attract potential foster parents
- Generate and manage inquiries from prospective foster parents
- Screen incoming inquiries to initiate the licensing and approval process
- Ensure all applicants meet North Carolina regulations and KidsPeace requirements
- Facilitate and/or provide pre-service and ongoing training using approved agency and state curricula
- Coordinate and lead agency-sponsored events and activities
- Support foster family engagement, recognition, and retention
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited university in social work/human services field
- North Carolina state requirement: Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in social work/human services field
