What you will do as a CNA in our Inpatient Unit:

• Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and assistance with activities of daily living
• Observe and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the RN and care team
• Follow each patient's individualized plan of care under the direction of the RN
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
• Accurately document care provided in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
• Transport or deliver equipment and supplies as needed
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing education, and quality improvement initiatives

What we are looking for:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide program with an active Virginia CNA license
• Minimum of one year of CNA experience preferred (hospice, home health, or long-term care experience is a plus)
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with EMR and technology
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance
• A heart for mission-driven, relational work with patients and families

Schedule & Compensation:

Schedule: Full-time Day Shift, 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Location: Inpatient Unit – Roanoke, VA
