Talencia is managing the search on the practice's behalf.

Position Summary
The Front Office Coordinator is the face of the practice — the first point of contact for patients and the hub that keeps the front office running smoothly. This role blends patient-facing warmth with behind-the-scenes organization: managing scheduling, greeting patients, coordinating with clinical staff, and handling the administrative details that keep the day on track. It's ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a busy dental environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in patients, creating a welcoming first impression
  • Manage the appointment schedule, confirmations, and recall to optimize patient flow
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and handle scheduling requests
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; assist patients with billing questions
  • Process payments, post transactions, and maintain accurate patient records
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth transitions and timely care
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
  • Support day-to-day front-office operations and administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications
  • 5 years of dental front-office experience preferred; candidates with 3+ years who are highly motivated will be considered
  • Familiarity with dental practice-management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of dental insurance verification and billing
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Professional, patient-first demeanor and the ability to multitask in a busy setting
  • Reliability and a collaborative team mindset

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with insurance claims processing and treatment-plan coordination
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Medical and vision insurance provided
  • 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) after six months of continuous employment
  • Permanent, full-time position with a stable, well-established practice
  • Supportive team environment focused on patient care and professional growth
