Job Description

Delivery Lead - Acquisition & Sustainment

About the Organization
Now is a great time to join Redhorse Corporation. We are a solution-driven company delivering data insights and technology solutions to customers with missions critical to U.S. national interests. We’re looking for thoughtful, skilled professionals who thrive as trusted partners building technology-agnostic solutions and want to apply their talents supporting customers with difficult and important mission sets.

About the Role

Redhorse is transforming how the Department of Defense (DoD) utilizes data and technology. We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery lead to join our team supporting the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). You will play a critical role in advancing data-driven decision-making across the DoD, designing and implementing robust data solutions that directly impact national security initiatives and investments. This is a high-impact position offering significant opportunity to shape the future of DoD data management and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Delivery & Execution

  • Take ownership of the team's delivery lifecycle, ensuring data products are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
  • Ensure the product backlog is prioritized, refined, and clearly understood by the cross-functional team.
  • Track and communicate team metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burn-down, lead time) to forecast delivery and identify areas for process optimization.
  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve impediments and blockers that hinder the team’s progress.

Agile Facilitation & Team Leadership

  • Guide and coach the team in engineering best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture rooted in trust, transparency, and continuous learning.
  • Protect the team from external distractions and scope creep during active sprints.

Enterprise Stakeholder & Dependency Management

  • Act as the primary bridge between the execution team and wider enterprise stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, and release schedules.
  • Navigate a highly matrixed enterprise environment to manage complex dependencies with external teams.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level status reports and delivery roadmaps.

Data Product Advocacy & Compliance

  • Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise data governance and security standards.
  • Possess a strong working understanding of the data product lifecycle (data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and visualization) to effectively communicate with technical team members and validate delivery estimates.
  • Facilitate discussions around data quality, testing protocols, and CI/CD pipelines specific to data environments.
Required Experience/Clearance
  • Experience: 6+ years in a Delivery Lead, Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or Technical Project Manager role.
  • Data Literacy: Proven experience delivering data-centric projects (e.g., Data Warehousing, Machine Learning models, BI/Analytics dashboards, ETL/ELT pipelines).
  • Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and how to pragmatically apply them in an enterprise setting.
  • Enterprise Navigation: Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholders in a complex, large-scale corporate environment.
  • Tools: High proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and collaboration software.
  • Preferred: Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist.
  • Familiarity with modern enterprise data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP data services, dbt).
  • Secret level security clearance.
The salary range provided for this position represents the anticipated base salary for successful candidates. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, security clearance level, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in Redhorse's comprehensive benefits programs and may be eligible for performance-based or other incentive compensation, where applicable.
