This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Test Engineer II based in India.

This role is focused on ensuring the quality, reliability, and release readiness of enterprise CCS applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. You will analyze requirements, design comprehensive test scenarios, execute multiple levels of testing, and investigate defects to help deliver dependable software. Working within an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and support teams. The position provides opportunities to strengthen test automation and contribute to continuous improvements across the QA lifecycle. You will also support release validation and production-readiness activities, helping identify and resolve issues before they impact customers. This is a strong opportunity for a quality-focused engineer who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Accountabilities
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, test data, and test plans based on application requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, application, and end-to-end testing across enterprise software applications.

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Reqnroll/SpecFlow and related automation frameworks.

  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and conduct root-cause analysis to identify underlying issues.

  • Log, track, prioritize, retest, and clearly communicate software defects through the appropriate defect-management processes.

  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and support teams to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other team activities.

  • Support release validation and production-readiness activities to ensure applications meet expected quality standards.

  • Contribute to improvements in test automation, test execution, and QA processes using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.

  • Help strengthen overall testing practices through effective documentation, analysis, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering.

  • Practical experience with both manual and automated software testing.

  • Hands-on experience with Reqnroll/SpecFlow, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

  • Knowledge of test management, defect tracking, scripting, and SQL.

  • Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a structured approach to identifying and resolving defects.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to software quality and reliable product delivery.

  • Ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment and manage testing activities across multiple priorities.

  • Experience with CCS, billing, customer-care, order-management, or other enterprise applications is an advantage.

  • Exposure to mainframe or transaction-processing environments is desirable.

  • Experience with release validation and production-readiness testing is a plus.

Benefits
  • Fully remote work opportunity from India.

  • Full-time position within a collaborative, cross-functional Agile environment.

  • Opportunity to work with both manual and automated testing practices.

  • Exposure to enterprise-scale applications and complex testing scenarios.

  • Hands-on experience with automation and CI/CD-related tools such as Reqnroll/SpecFlow, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.

  • Opportunities to contribute to QA process improvements and automation initiatives.

  • Collaborative work with developers, product owners, business analysts, and support teams.

  • Professional growth through exposure to modern software testing, release validation, and production-readiness practices.

  • Workplace commitment to equal opportunity, inclusion, and accessibility, with accommodations available throughout the hiring process where required.
