BDM, Digital Trust, Western USA

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a BDM, Digital Trust, Western USA based in the United States.

This is a strategic business development role focused on growing high-value customer relationships and expanding into new accounts across the Western United States.
You will drive sales of digital trust solutions spanning information security, privacy, business continuity, and related assurance services.
The position combines consultative selling, strategic account management, solution development, and executive-level relationship building.
You will work closely with marketing, product, delivery, and global teams to create solutions aligned with complex customer needs.
Your ability to identify opportunities, lead account strategies, and navigate sophisticated buying environments will directly influence revenue growth.
You will also represent the organization at industry associations and events, strengthening market presence and customer engagement.

Accountabilities
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with large and strategically important customers across the Western United States.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by expanding existing accounts and identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify customer priorities, growth opportunities, and pathways to long-term revenue.

  • Drive sales of digital trust solutions covering information security, privacy, business continuity, assurance, auditing, and related services.

  • Engage senior executives and key decision-makers to understand business challenges and position relevant solutions.

  • Lead solution development activities and coordinate internal resources to deliver compelling responses to complex customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with global marketing, product development, delivery, and other cross-functional teams to support customer growth and successful execution.

  • Manage sales forecasting and maintain accurate, timely CRM information and pipeline data.

  • Provide high-level contract and relationship management to support customer retention, satisfaction, and account expansion.

  • Support sales initiatives across the Americas, including multi-site and strategically complex account management.

  • Represent digital trust solutions at relevant industry associations, conferences, networking events, and other market-facing activities.

  • Identify emerging market opportunities and contribute to broader business development and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • At least 8 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within information security, privacy, financial services, business continuity, assurance, or related sectors.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solutions sales and business development.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex, high-value accounts and building trusted relationships with senior executives.

  • Experience selling audit, assessment, assurance, or professional services solutions is strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based sales approaches, with the ability to connect customer challenges to commercially valuable solutions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong commercial judgment and a proven ability to develop opportunities and consistently deliver against sales targets.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic accounts, sales cycles, and priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required; experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms is preferred.

  • Willingness and ability to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and other business activities as needed.

  • Annual base salary of $86,400–$108,000, depending on experience, qualifications, location, education, competencies, and other factors.
