Masaba Mining Equipment has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Intern at our facility in Vermillion, SD. Engineering interns will be involved in the ground up design of new projects and modification of previous designs. Equipment categories include a wide range of aggregate processing equipment including portable washing, screening, and crushing plants, a wide variety of conveyor equipment, as well as a wide variety of customized equipment. Interns will work very closely with all aspects of the management team including sales, operations, marketing, purchasing and production. This fast-paced environment affords interns a great challenging environment to grow experience and skill sets in the discipline of mechanical engineering and general business.

A successful intern will have a strong work ethic, be initiative and motivated, have the ability to work well in a team environment, strong written and verbal communications skills, working knowledge of Auto CAD, Auto CAD Lt., or Inventor software applications. Qualified candidates will have at least Junior status in an accredited university and be a Mechanical Engineering major with a minimum 2.7 GPA. A requirement of this position is to be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have a valid work Visa.
