Mike Calvert Ford Quick Lane is hiring a Quick Lane Technician to keep our fast-service lane moving! You’ll handle oil changes, tires, brakes, batteries, and routine maintenance on all makes and models. We’re looking for someone who does quality work quickly, keeps customers in the loop, and enjoys being part of a team. This is a full-time, hands-on role, and it comes with ongoing Ford training and real room to grow into higher-level technician positions.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire mounting and balancing, and flat repairs
  • Replace brakes, batteries, wiper blades, bulbs, belts, and other light maintenance items
  • Complete a multipoint inspection on every vehicle and note recommended repairs on the repair order
  • Check fluids, tire pressure, and tire condition, and top off or correct as needed
  • Partner with service advisors to explain findings and recommended work to customers
  • Follow Ford procedures and shop safety rules, and keep your bay, tools, and equipment clean and organized
  • Meet quality and efficiency targets while keeping comebacks to a minimum
  • Help move vehicles through the lane during busy periods

What We Offer

  • $20–$30 per flat rate hour, based on certifications
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Employee discounts on vehicle purchases and service
  • Uniforms provided
  • Ongoing Ford training and a clear path to advance

Work Environment
This role is on site in a busy shop. You’ll be on your feet, around noise, fluids, and tires, and you’ll need to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

Required

  • Experience in a quick lube, tire, or general automotive maintenance setting, OR strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work at a steady pace in a busy shop, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-first attitude

Preferred

  • ASE certifications or Ford training
  • Experience with Ford vehicles or at a Ford/Lincoln dealership
  • Experience with tire machines, alignment equipment, or a dealership repair order system
