We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Editorial Specialist / Magazine Editor to help develop, edit, and manage engaging content for print and digital publications. This role is ideal for an experienced editor, writer, journalist, or communications professional who enjoys transforming ideas and drafts into polished, accurate, and compelling editorial content.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop editorial content aligned with publication goals and audience interests.
• Write, edit, rewrite, and proofread articles, features, interviews, newsletters, and digital content.
• Review submissions for accuracy, clarity, grammar, tone, structure, and consistency.
• Conduct research and fact-check information before publication.
• Coordinate with writers, designers, contributors, and other publishing professionals.
• Maintain editorial calendars, deadlines, style guidelines, and content workflows.
• Prepare content for print, websites, email newsletters, and social media.
• Identify trending topics and creative story ideas that increase audience engagement.
• Ensure published content maintains high editorial and brand standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, AP Style, or another recognized editorial style.
• Experience with magazine, newspaper, digital publishing, journalism, communications, or content marketing.
• Strong research, fact-checking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, WordPress/CMS, Adobe tools, and digital publishing platforms is a plus.
• Portfolio or samples of published editorial work are encouraged.
