Location: Remote - PH (Manila only)
Working Hours: 9PM - 6AM (Philippine Time)

As a Sr. Accountant, you’ll be a key player in our growing finance team, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance initiatives. You’ll report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with our global Finance team, contribute to process improvements, and help us maintain strong internal controls as we scale.

Roles + Responsibilities
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Sr. Accountant will hold responsibility for:
  • QuickBooks Management: Serve as an expert for QuickBooks operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry and management.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Month End Close: Assist in various month end close tasks, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, verification of payroll entries and accuracy of expenses, including prepaid expenses and accrued expenses.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Sales Invoicing: Assist with monthly sales billing, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Sales Commissions: Assist with monthly sales commissions process, ensuring all calculations are done accurately, timely and all exceptions have been accounted for.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations applicable in the Philippines, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support financial operations, provide financial insights, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in accounting, with a strong focus on QuickBooks software
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month end close processes
  • Advanced expertise with Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment

Strongly-Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the Philippines
  • Exposure to Salesforce CRM Software
  • Familiarity with GSuite/Google Docs/Google Sheets Product Suite
  • Experience with Ramp or Navan platforms a plus
