EveryPet, a dedicated non-profit organization, is seeking a driven and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this full-time role at our state-of-the-art, low-cost, high-quality veterinary clinic, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and supporting our mission to make veterinary care affordable and accessible. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients and their pets.
  • Handle a high volume of appointments and in-person inquiries, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
  • Process cash transactions, manage financing options, and handle payment processing with accuracy.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process, addressing client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and financial records in our management system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for the charitable care fund.
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and effective workflow.
  • Uphold EveryPet's mission and values, representing the organization in a positive and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit a compassionate attitude toward clients and their pets, contributing to a supportive and positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed to support clinic operations.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on empathy and a positive attitude.
  • Experience in cash handling and financing, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent time management abilities.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, particularly when dealing with pet owners and their concerns.
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
  • Experience in a veterinary office is preferred but not required.
  • Flexibility to work rotating weekends as part of the full-time schedule.

Work Environment:

The workspace is welcoming and organized, with comfortable seating and efficient check-in/out

stations that promote collaboration with veterinary staff and fellow CSRs. It features modern

scheduling technology and regular team meetings for policy updates. However, certain hazards

exist, including exposure to aggressive animals, infections, controlled substances, and

unpleasant odors. Risks like bites, scratches, and contagious diseases are present, so we

provide ergonomic furniture, stress management resources, and training in data protection and

hygiene practices. As a CSR, you are expected to deliver exceptional customer service, handle

inquiries, schedule appointments accurately, and maintain a professional and empathetic

demeanor while adhering to safety protocols.
