Position Summary:
The results driven Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative serves as an essential team player and delivers exceptional customer support. This role is for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready for a career with custom growth paths. Reports directly to the VP of Business Development.

Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Support & Account Management:
- Create quotes, process orders, and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Engage with customers daily to provide support and build strong relationships.
- Communicate delays with customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with speed and professionalism.
- Manage customer portals and maintain accurate customer information.
2. Order Coordination & Internal Operations:
- Work directly with production teams to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with purchasing, shipping, and production departments to support on-time delivery.
- Review customer orders for accuracy, pricing, lead times, and specifications.
- Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on pending issues or delivery risks.
- Maintain organized records of quotes, orders, customer communications, and related documentation.

Skills and Abilities:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience in customer service, inside sales, manufacturing, or order management.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC, Swiss Machining, EDM, or Metal Stamping.
- Proficiency in reading Technical Drawings & Specifications.
- Experience in Aerospace, Defense, and Medical Industries.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in CRM, ERP/operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and general data entry accuracy.
- Proficiency in using large language models to solve problems.
- Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, problem-solving, and judgment, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
This position involves working in a office environment that is adjacent to the manufacturing environment. The employee must be aware of potential hazards, including, but not limited to, working in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, operating vehicles, exposure to electrical current, high temperatures, and chemicals. It's important to maintain a high level of alertness and caution while performing tasks in this work environment.
