Life Enrichment Specialist – Louisville, Ky

Pay: $18.00 Hourly
Schedule: Monday thru Saturday 10am-4pm Sunday 10am-2pm (40 hours)

About the Role
This position focuses on helping our clients maintain a comfortable, safe, and welcoming home environment while offering companionship and daily living assistance. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping others thrive in familiar surroundings.

Caregiver Match Profile
The client prefers a female caregiver; race or nationality does not matter, provided the caregiver speaks good English. She would benefit from an experienced, dependable, positive caregiver who is comfortable providing household support and transportation for errands.

Smoking is permitted in the home; smoke level is between light and heavy.
There are no pets, infestations, additional residents, or home-safety concerns.
The home is clean and well maintained.
The client needs some mobility assistance but remains independent with bathing and toileting.
She enjoys watching movies, going out, shopping, and errands.

Care Needs
The caregiver will assist with:
Light housekeeping and cleaning
Laundry, including transporting laundry to a separate laundry area
Meal preparation
Grocery shopping and other errands
Accompanying or transporting the client as needed for outings and shopping
Providing some mobility assistance as needed

Has prior caregiving experience
Is dependable and consistent
Has a positive, encouraging attitude
Does not complain or bring negativity into the home
Is comfortable working a seven-day schedule, if required
Gets along easily with people from all backgrounds
Is willing to help the client remain active in the community and enjoy outings
