Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute cost-saving strategies across indirect procurement categories, with a primary focus on software, sales and marketing, external workforce, professional services, HR, events, and travel.
  • Build category strategies and sourcing pipelines by partnering with stakeholders to understand business priorities, roadmaps, spending requirements, and supplier needs.
  • Research industry trends, competitive dynamics, pricing structures, and supplier markets to provide informed recommendations on sourcing and supplier optimization.

  • Support additional procurement categories and priorities as business needs evolve, including professional services, HR and benefits, workplace and real estate, legal services, software, cloud, events, and travel.
  • Lead complex Source-to-Pay and other procurement improvement initiatives designed to strengthen processes, efficiency, governance, and business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience in senior procurement or strategic sourcing roles.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing category strategies that deliver measurable savings and business value.
  • Proven success negotiating complex, high-value, and high-stakes buy-side contracts.
  • Strong analytical and financial capabilities, including spend analysis, financial modeling, operational metrics, dashboards, and procurement reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of best-practice procurement methodologies, including category management, benchmarking, should-cost modeling, RFX processes, reverse auctions, contracting, and supplier management.
  • Experience developing KPIs, supplier scorecards, performance reports, and QBR processes to monitor sourcing and supplier effectiveness.
  • Deep understanding of commercial and contractual terms, with experience structuring or drafting agreements such as MSAs, DPAs, maintenance agreements, and service orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and negotiate varied commercial models, including consumption-based pricing, fixed fees, variable tiers, and performance-based arrangements.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and executive presence, with the ability to influence decisions and manage complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience with procurement, ERP, and vendor spend management platforms such as Oracle and Ironclad is a plus.
  • A Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in a global, fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently.
