Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Consulting (SaaS) based in Spain.
This leadership role sits within a Professional Services organization and is responsible for building a high-performing consulting practice in a SaaS environment.
You will lead and develop a team of consultants, raising the standard for strategic, expert-led client engagements.
The role combines people leadership, consulting methodology, performance management, and customer value realization.
You will help teams move beyond technical delivery to become trusted advisors who guide clients toward scalable best practices.
A key focus will be improving delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, utilization, and return on investment while reducing scope creep and escalations.
You will operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where coaching, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration are highly valued.
The position offers significant influence over consulting strategy, team capability, and the quality of customer outcomes.
- Lead and develop a team of individual-contributor consultants, establishing a high-performance culture built around accountability, expertise, customer value, and continuous improvement.
- Define and reinforce a clear consulting standard in which consultants act as subject matter experts who provide confident, professional, and opinionated guidance to customers.
- Establish and implement consulting methodologies that promote best practices, repeatable processes, delivery efficiency, and strong customer outcomes.
- Manage performance against key Professional Services metrics, including utilization, Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), and delivery efficiency.
- Develop and execute a strategic knowledge plan to broaden cross-product expertise and reduce gaps in specialized knowledge across the consulting team.
- Use regular one-to-one meetings and structured feedback to coach consultants, strengthen performance, and support their professional development.
- Own the onboarding and training strategy for new consultants, ensuring they develop strong product, consulting, and industry expertise quickly.
- Partner with clients to understand business objectives and ensure consulting deliverables are high quality, strategic, and aligned with desired outcomes.
- Coach consultants to clearly communicate the business value and ROI of their work, positioning themselves as strategic advisors rather than technical resources.
- Empower consultants to take ownership of customer outcomes, lead challenging conversations, and present solutions directly rather than unnecessarily escalating issues.
- Build a solution-oriented consulting culture in which teams identify risks and challenges while proactively developing practical, expert-led solutions.
- Work closely with Professional Services leadership and other stakeholders to continuously improve consulting performance, customer experience, and delivery quality.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Professional Services, implementation, consulting, or a related function, preferably within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- 3+ years of direct people-management experience leading Professional Services consultants, project managers, technical consultants, or similar resources.
- Demonstrated experience defining and implementing consulting methodologies that emphasize best practices, subject matter expertise, operational efficiency, and reduced scope creep.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance-management capabilities, with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams and individual contributors.
- Strong understanding of Professional Services performance metrics, including utilization, CSAT, delivery efficiency, and related operational measures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence and engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong client-facing consulting skills and the ability to translate business objectives into effective delivery strategies and measurable outcomes.
- A highly accountable, results-oriented, and solution-focused approach, combined with strong emotional intelligence and sound judgment.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities evolve and continuous improvement is expected.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Group critical illness insurance.
- Group income protection.
- Group life assurance.
- Pension plan.
- Vision benefits.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Access to discounts and wellbeing resources through a dedicated portal.
- Optional private medical coverage from day one.
- Ride-to-work scheme.
- Unlimited vacation.
- Quarterly paid volunteer days.
- Employee referral program with attractive rewards.
- Career development opportunities across different functions and levels.
- A people-first, collaborative culture that values ownership, service, continuous learning, and professional growth.
