The Job
This position will report to our Vice President of Licensing and Partnerships and work across the entire Playboy organization (Brand, Media, Legal, and Finance & Accounting), as well as with CAA, our licensing agency, and our global licensing partners. You will own the day-to-day management of Playboy's existing licensee portfolio, tracking business performance, product assortments, royalty revenue, and contractual compliance. You will support partner renewals, amendments, and the coordination of legal agreements. This role will oversee brand guidelines and logo use, working closely with CAA on product approvals, to ensure every product carrying the Playboy mark meets our standards.

- Coordinate the daily business operations of existing Playboy licensees and partners, serving as the primary day-to-day point of contact across the global portfolio
- Onboard new partners to the brand, sharing brand guidelines and logo use
- Partner with CAA, our licensing agency, on brand management and partner oversight, including tracking contractual compliance, sales performance, sales projections, and royalty revenue
- Proactively support partners through product launches and day-to-day business needs, anticipating challenges and quickly resolving issues such as approval delays, asset requests, timeline changes, and brand questions to ensure seamless execution and strong partner relationships
- Support the VP of Licensing & Partnerships with license renewals and amendments through the coordination of legal agreements with Playboy Legal, CAA Legal, and Finance
- Manage key licensing operations, including tracking contract amendments, renewals, and compliance records such as insurance certificates and quarterly royalty reports
- Maintain the active partner roster and open category reports
- Own analysis from the royalty management system (e.g., Brand Comply), tracking product approvals
- Support product approvals in partnership with CAA, having full insight into new collections, brand collaborations, launches, and product assortments
- Enforce compliance with the brand standards, protecting how Playboy is portrayed across every touchpoint and escalating off-brand activations to the VP for review and final approval
- Work with partners on marketing activities, coordinating with social media and editorial teams as needed
- Represent Playboy in partner meetings, speaking confidently to the business and guiding licensees and partners, while taking thorough, accurate notes that capture key decisions and action items, and distributing timely recaps to internal teams and partners
- Manage the seasonal style guide and own the quarterly partner newsletter, closely monitoring global partner activity, product launches, and marketplace activations
- Influence and inspire partners to maximize their product assortments and grow their businesses, as well as manage the Playboyshop.com assortment to ensure an on-brand offering that reflects the strength of the partner portfolio
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of partner requests across multiple accounts
- Manage ad hoc requests and projects as needed
What You’ll Bring — Qualifications and Skills
Skills / Abilities / Competencies / Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in brand management, merchandising, or account management
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to read sales and royalty reporting and translate it into recommendations
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, both internally and externally
- Experience working with cross-functional corporate teams
- Strong customer service and account management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including advanced Excel for sales, assortment, and royalty analysis (pivot tables, lookups, and reporting templates) and PowerPoint for building partner business reviews and executive-level presentations
- Growth mindset and a team-oriented approach, with the judgment to represent the brand independently in partner and agency meetings
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple partners and timelines at once
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in lifestyle brands, fashion brands, or global brands a plus
- Knowledge of licensing, partnerships, and account management across global markets
- International experience working with partners across the US and Canada, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC
- Familiarity with fashion merchandising and product assortments
- Experience with royalty management and product approval systems (e.g., Brand Comply) and project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com)
