The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the daily clinical and operational oversight of the SilverCare Unit, with a primary focus on referral intake management, admission coordination, patient placement, and unit supervision. This role serves as the liaison between referral sources, providers, nursing staff, case management, and hospital leadership to ensure timely admissions, regulatory compliance, high-quality patient care, and efficient unit operations.
The Clinical Coordinator provides leadership and support to staff, oversees patient flow from referral through discharge, ensures adherence to policies and regulatory standards, and promotes a safe therapeutic environment for geriatric behavioral health patients.
Requirements: Associate's degree in Nursing, BSN preferred. Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a RN in the state of Georgia. Must have BLS and complete Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification within three months of hire. Prefer applicants with one year of experience in behavioral health or related field.
