Position Summary:

To ensure programmatic activities are being followed as per the standards set by the program's mission. Provide direct support to individuals served with behavioral health needs while supervising and guiding other technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

I. Patient Care:

  1. Monitor, observe, and document individual served behavior and progress.
  2. Assist individuals served with daily living activities and programmatic routines.
  3. Support treatment plans designed by therapists that include reinforce participation in PSR groups, individual sessions, and monitoring and support of individual's served activities of daily living (ADL's).
  4. Conduct psychosocial rehabilitation (PSR) groups, if deem necessary.
  5. Distribute medication to individuals served, if deemed necessary.
  6. Maintain structured, non-disruptive environment in house, as well as on outings.
  7. Night monitoring, as required.

II. Staff Leadership

  1. Train, mentor, and supervise recovery technicians.
  2. Facilitate team meetings and ensure effective communication among staff.
  3. Provide feedback and support to improve staff performance.

III. Administrative Duties

  1. Maintain accurate individual served records and ensure HIPAA compliance (e.g., RT shift notes, house logs, vehicle inspection logs, incident reports, etc.)
  2. Manage and disseminate individuals served data to the treatment team.
  3. Coordinate schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage as needed with Residential Manager.
  4. Provide coverage for any vacant shifts due to call outs.
  5. Collaborate with the Chaplain to coordinate activities for the individuals served.
  6. Administer disciplinary actions when necessary, addressing identified performance issues in accordance with agency policies and procedures to promote accountability and maintain standards of care.

  1. Lead Recovery Technicians are expected to man the floor as needed when shifts are short staffed.

Safety & Compliance

  • 1. Uphold organizational mission, vision, and values.
  1. Ensure adherence to facility policies, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Ensure safety drills are completed in a timely fashion.
  3. Perform daily inspections of the facility for security and cleanliness purposes.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience in related field for 1 year. This position includes a probationary period of 4 months. During this time, performance and suitability for the role will be assessed. Successful completion of the probation period will confirm continued employment. Valid and active driver license.
