Job Description
Purpose of Position: Oversee all activities inside a building, making sure that health and safety standards are met and arranging for repairs when needed.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
- Responsible for visitor(s) screening, notification and verification.
- Coordinate’s maintenance requests. Ensures problems are resolved quickly.
- Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve facility problems.
- Monitor and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment with facility owners.
- Manages hazardous waste disposal programs.
- Manages the paper recycling program.
- Coordinate’s cleaning services for buildings.
- Maintains up-to-date records for all inspections. Including HVAC monitoring for OR OSHA COVID requirements.
- Complete COVID required workplace cleaning daily.
- Maintain and monitor building security system.
- Monitor office supply stock and reordering.
- Maintain conference room schedule, food and beverage requests. Coordinate offsite meetings as needed.
- Answer and route incoming calls.
- Maintain and update employee directory.
- Maintain and ensure regulatory and business documents are on file, organized and up to date.
- Coordinate communication with utility companies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Three years related facilities experience.
- Three years customer service experience working in an office environment.
- Experience working in a security capacity, preferred.
Physical Demands of Position:
- Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
- Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information.
