Job Summary: Serves as Sales Representative in assigned territory. Interacts with customers to sell products in PRI SBUs. Conducts work to maintain current customers while also seeking new customers to expand business. Expect to travel frequently throughout the state of Florida. Provided company car, cell phone, laptop, gas, and credit cards. Compensation is a combination of base salary plus commissions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Cover all ESSENTIAL major duties and areas of responsibility - no minor tasks) Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  2. Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  3. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  4. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  5. Prepare sales contracts and order forms.
  6. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
  7. Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports and keeping sales records.
  8. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and explain product features.
  9. Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
  10. Discuss goods and services information with customers and respond to problems or complaints promptly.
  11. Provide notifications and updates to customers regarding products, services, or orders.
  12. Calculate costs of goods or services and explain pricing structures clearly.
  13. Refer customers to appropriate personnel when specialized assistance is required.
  14. Inspect items for damage or defects and ensure quality standards are met.
  15. Promote products, services, and programs to drive customer engagement and sales.
  16. Coordinate operational activities related to order processing, delivery, and service fulfillment.
  17. Recommend appropriate packing or shipping methods based on customer needs and product requirements.
Requirements:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of five (5) years of sales experience. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various platforms.

Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required for day-to-day business operations.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Demonstrates sound judgment and problem-solving skills; able to independently manage standard sales cycles, meet established targets, and apply core selling techniques with minimal supervision.

Specialized Knowledge and/or Skill: Acquire FDC training to supervise Inmate Workers. Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel and have other basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, Teams).

Other Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills with effective personal time management; honest, dependable, professional, adaptable, and pleasant to work with.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is exposed to fumes or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud – the dust level is moderate.
