Job Title: HR Generalist

Position Summary

The HR Generalist is a key contributor to a high‑performing People & Culture function, supporting programs that strengthen employee experience, organizational capability, and compliance. This role provides hands‑on support across benefits administration, onboarding, training coordination, employee relations, documentation, and HR operations. The HR Generalist builds trust with employees and leaders, ensuring HR processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with company values. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are preferred to support an inclusive and accessible workplace.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Benefits & Retirement Programs

  • Administer employee benefits and 401(k) programs, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Provide clear, accurate guidance to employees regarding benefit options and plan features
  • Support open enrollment activities, communication, and documentation

Onboarding, Orientation & Talent Integration

  • Coordinate onboarding activities in partnership with the P&C Manager
  • Conduct new hire orientation to reinforce culture, safety expectations, and operational readiness
  • Ensure completion of onboarding documentation, system access, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain consistency and quality across all onboarding touchpoints

Training & Workforce Development

  • Support employee training initiatives, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation
  • Maintain training records to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Assist HR leadership with development programs that enhance workforce capability

Employee Relations & Culture Support

  • Serve as a resource for employees, providing guidance with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and culture‑building activities
  • Assist with policy communication, bilingual translation, and employee‑facing materials
  • Promote a people‑first environment aligned with company values

HR Compliance, Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation (physical and electronic)
  • Support HR audits, reporting, and compliance activities
  • Track policy acknowledgments, training completion, and required documentation
  • Assist HR leadership with HR projects, process improvements, and initiative implementation

General HR Operations Support

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the HR department
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to ensure consistent application of HR processes
  • Assist with employee communication, documentation, and information requests
  • Support recruiting activities, including posting job openings, coordinating candidate communication, and assisting with interview scheduling
  • Ensure job postings are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company standards and hiring needs
  • Qualifications

    • 2–4 years of experience in a Human Resources role
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
    • Experience supporting benefits, onboarding, training, or HR operations
    • Strong understanding of HR practices and employee‑centered service
    • High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
    • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Experience in ADP preferred

    Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

    This position is on site. The environment includes administrative settings and manufacturing areas with varying noise levels, temperatures, and activity. The role requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, and repetitive hand movements. Occasional standing, walking, bending, or lifting up to 15 pounds may be required.
