Talent Acquisition Specialist - Sandyford

The Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the sourcing, attraction, and hiring of qualified caregivers to meet the staffing needs of the organisation. This role involves building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, designing and owning recruitment pipelines, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The TA Specialist will partner with the Local Office teams to ensure timely onboarding of employees who align with the companys mission.

Job Specific Responsibilities & Role Competencies

  • Develop and own the attraction and sourcing strategy for Caregivers.
  • Drive and manage this according to the business needs and industry trends. Ensure the strategy has a multi-faceted approach to candidate attraction.
  • Advertise in accordance with the Attraction Strategy and Calendar. Adjust as required to ensure return on investment.
  • Build and maintain a caregiver talent pipeline to ensure continuous staffing availability.
  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Screen CVs/applications, conduct phone interviews, and schedule in-person or virtual interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks, work permit verification, qualifications, and ensure candidates meet compliance requirements.
  • Handle all candidate data in line with GDPR and company data protection policy, ensuring applicant records, permit documentation and reference material are stored securely in the ATS and retained only as long as permitted.
  • Coordinate onboarding, including training schedules, document collection, and orientation.
  • Establish positive relationships with Local offices, General Managers, HRs and candidates.
  • Generate offer letter contracts and communicate to the candidate.
  • Act as subject matter expert on recruitment best practice, coaching Local Office teams and supporting Talent Acquisition Coordinators.
  • Analyse recruitment data and provide regular reporting and insight into management on recruitment performance, pipeline health and workforce needs.

Must have the ability to organise and prioritise daily, quarterly, monthly and yearly work.

Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of ATS (Fountain preferred).

Must be proactive, results-driven, and resilient in meeting recruitment targets.

Must present a professional appearance and demeanour.

Must have the ability to perform duties in a professional office setting.

Must demonstrate a working understanding of GDPR as it applies to recruitment and candidate records.

Education | Experience | Requirements

  • At least 23 years recruitment experience, ideally within home care, health care or a senior-related industry, an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Qualifications in Business Management, HR, would be preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Computer literacy skills are a must.
  • Working knowledge of General Employment Permits is required.
