Custom Cake Order Specialist in Los Alamitos, California at Katella Deli

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take orders for cakes, baked goods, and catering services.
• Answer phone calls and provide information about bakery and deli products.
• Assist guests with questions about products, ingredients, and special orders.
• Prepare and accurately record special orders to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, creating a positive experience.
• Work with team members to support daily bakery, deli, front-of-house (FOH), and back-of-house (BOH) operations.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and flexible attitude while promoting teamwork.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management.

Requirements

• Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of bakery products and ability to explain ingredients when requested.
• California Food Handler Card required
• Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
