SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. The location of this role is in Austin, Texas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
· Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, highlighting any variances and trends for management review.
· Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Monitor and analyze accounting transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
· Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
· Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Represent Empower Aesthetics alongside other stakeholders when onsite at partner practices

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is preferred.
· 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
· Strong understanding of GAAP
