IRSG—a division of Pipp Mobile Storage Systems, Inc—is an industry leader in Inventory Processing and Transport solutions. We are looking for a Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team. Position: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Reports to: Warehouse Coordinator
Location: IRSG, Elk Grove Village, IL
Department: Warehouse Department
As a member of the IRSG team, you can expect:
- Compensation: $18/hour - $21/hour (DOE) plus discretionary annual bonus.
- Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday – Friday. Potential overtime on Saturdays

Essential duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- You will safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment to load and unload trucks.
- You will participate in the efficient reception of overseas containers by properly identifying products and quantities received, accurately labeling products, and storing products in designated bin locations.
- You will break down, rebuild, pack, and securely shrink-wrap pallets according to shipping specifications, ensuring load stability, product protection, and efficient warehouse operations.
- You will maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by ensuring proper product placement, accurate identification, and removing unnecessary equipment or supplies.
- You will maintain a high level of integrity, work ethic, and professionalism in all forms of communication.
- You will maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety and company policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Preferred Qualifications: We encourage candidates to apply, even if they do not meet every qualification listed.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret customer work orders, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures).
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Not required but desirable.
- Position requires the ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires the use of hands for handling materials and visual abilities including close, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of safe forklift operating experience, positive attitude, and demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive environment.
