Job Description

General Counsel

Healthcare | Precision Medicine | Oncology | Telemedicine | Corporate Growth

ENVITA | Full-Time | On-Site | Scottsdale, Arizona

Join at a Defining Moment in Envita's Growth Story

Timing matters.

The right executive opportunities rarely come along at exactly the right time. This is one of them.

Envita currently employs approximately 360 team members and is entering one of the most significant growth phases in its history.

The organization has recently acquired a multi-million-dollar facility designed to significantly expand patient capacity and support future growth initiatives.

At the same time, leadership is actively developing and launching new healthcare verticals, expanding telemedicine capabilities, exploring strategic partnerships, and investing in innovative healthcare delivery models that will shape the future direction of the organization.

For the right General Counsel, this creates a rare opportunity to join at the onset of transformational growth rather than after the most important decisions have already been made.

You will help build the legal, regulatory, governance, compliance, risk management, telemedicine, and corporate infrastructure supporting the next chapter of Envita's evolution.

Few healthcare legal opportunities offer the ability to influence so many aspects of growth simultaneously.

Why This Role Is Career Defining

Most General Counsel opportunities involve stepping into an established legal function. This opportunity offers the chance to help architect the future of a rapidly growing healthcare organization at a pivotal moment in its evolution.

  • Expansion of patient capacity
  • Development of new healthcare verticals
  • Telemedicine growth and multi-state expansion
  • Strategic partnerships
  • Potential acquisitions
  • Precision medicine initiatives
  • Oncology innovation
  • Diagnostic and laboratory growth
  • Corporate infrastructure scaling
  • Enterprise risk management

For an attorney who enjoys growth, complexity, innovation, and executive influence, opportunities of this scale and timing are exceptionally rare.

Help Shape the Future of Healthcare

Most General Counsel opportunities focus on protecting the status quo. This one is about helping build the future.

Envita is one of the most innovative and rapidly evolving organizations in precision medicine, integrative oncology, chronic disease treatment, diagnostics, telemedicine, and healthcare innovation.

Patients travel from across the United States and internationally seeking answers after exhausting conventional treatment options. They come to Envita searching for hope, innovation, and new possibilities.

As General Counsel, you will serve as the organization's senior legal authority and a trusted advisor to ownership and executive leadership, helping shape the legal, regulatory, compliance, governance, and growth strategies that will support the next chapter of Envita's evolution.

This is a rare opportunity for a healthcare attorney who wants to move beyond legal oversight and become a true executive partner to help drive innovation, expansion, patient impact, and organizational growth.

Why Executive Leaders Choose Envita
  • Help patients when traditional healthcare has run out of answers.
  • Operate as a strategic executive partner to ownership and senior leadership.
  • Help scale precision medicine, oncology, diagnostics, telemedicine, and future healthcare initiatives.
  • Support expansion into new business verticals and emerging healthcare delivery models.
  • Influence strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and organizational growth.
  • Solve sophisticated legal, regulatory, operational, and business challenges.
  • Help build an organization rather than simply maintain one.
About Envita

Envita is a mission-driven healthcare organization focused on complex patient populations, including cancer, Lyme disease, chronic illness, and patients seeking innovative treatment approaches after conventional options have often fallen short.

The organization operates in a complex and highly regulated environment that includes physician services, precision medicine, diagnostics, laboratory-related considerations, telemedicine, patient care delivery, provider relationships, corporate growth, and emerging healthcare verticals.

Envita's next stage of growth requires a General Counsel who can combine sophisticated healthcare legal expertise with executive-level judgment, business acumen, operational pragmatism, and a strong commitment to protecting the organization while enabling innovation.

The Opportunity

The General Counsel serves as the organization's senior legal authority and strategic legal advisor.

This role is intentionally weighted approximately 60% healthcare regulatory, compliance, provider, and medical legal matters and 40% corporate, tax, governance, transactional, and commercial legal matters.

The successful candidate will operate as both a healthcare regulatory expert and a strategic business advisor capable of balancing innovation, growth, compliance, and organizational objectives.

Beyond managing legal risk, this leader will help enable organizational growth by supporting the legal infrastructure required for telemedicine expansion, new healthcare verticals, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, physician relationships, diagnostics, and precision medicine initiatives.

This individual will work directly with executive leadership and serve as a trusted advisor on legal, regulatory, compliance, operational, and strategic matters affecting the organization.
