Senior Solutions Engineer - CJIS

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer - CJIS based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise, customer engagement, and pre-sales strategy within mission-critical environments. You will partner closely with sales teams and channel partners to understand complex customer workflows and translate them into tailored technical solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will lead product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations, and solution architecture discussions. The position requires a strong ability to communicate value to both technical stakeholders and executive audiences. You will also contribute to proposals, statements of work, and implementation best practices across engagements. Operating in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, you will support strategic opportunities that directly influence revenue growth and customer success.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead pre-sales discovery sessions with customers to identify technical requirements, workflows, and business needs, ensuring solutions are aligned with operational objectives.
  • Design, present, and demonstrate tailored technical solutions, including customized demos and PoC environments that validate product value.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for both executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and support proposals, solution estimates, and statements of work for professional and managed services engagements.
  • Manage and execute PoC evaluations from planning through completion, ensuring defined success criteria are met.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to support territory goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Contribute to RFI/RFP responses, security questionnaires, and technical documentation as needed.
  • Provide post-sale transition support to ensure smooth handoff to delivery and services teams.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and stay current on competitive and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, consulting, or systems integration within healthcare IT or similar enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience delivering technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Strong ability to engage with both technical teams and C-level stakeholders, translating complex solutions into business value.
  • Experience working with identity management, enterprise security, SaaS, or infrastructure technologies.
  • Familiarity with directory services, networking protocols, virtualization, and cloud environments such as Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of CJIS Security Policy, public safety environments, or law enforcement technology is highly preferred.
  • Ability to scope, estimate, and support professional services engagements.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-moving, customer-facing role with up to 50% travel.
