JOB SUMMARY
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial dual role in driving business growth by combining marketing campaign execution with pre-sales and lead management. You will serve as a bridge between marketing lead generation and sales & service pipeline development, ensuring a smooth handoff and alignment between campaigns and sales activities.
In this role, you will execute digital and content marketing initiatives while managing qualified inbound opportunities directly, guiding them through the sales cycle. You will act as a primary point of contact during the pre-sales process, translating customer needs into actionable solutions, managing CRM data, and preparing sales enablement materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inside Sales & Lead Management
- Manage inbound & outbound leads: Act as the primary point of contact for qualifying inbound and outbound leads generated from existing customers, marketing campaigns, partner referrals, and trade shows, driving them through the sales cycle and handoff to sales and/or service teams.
- Conduct discovery sessions: Lead virtual discovery sessions and exceptional telephone/video conferences with prospects and existing customers to uncover needs for preventative maintenance and capital equipment. Collect insights on discovery calls for customer satisfaction and net promoter score.
- Sales enablement support: Prepare and maintain simple sales materials, such as presentations, case studies, sales tools, and product catalogues.
- Prospecting & research: Conduct research on prospective accounts and industry segments to build targeted prospect lists and ABM campaigns.
- RFQ and proposal administration: Responsible for managing RFQ documentation and coordinating various supporting documentation and materials necessary for competitive and compelling bids
Marketing Execution
- Content creation & social media: Draft, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, YouTube, and WordPress.
- Email marketing: Build, test, and schedule email campaigns and newsletters using Pardot. Report back on analytics and key learnings to enhance future campaign strategies.
- Design & media support: Assist in light graphic design using Canva or similar tools and help coordinate video shoots and visual assets.
- Event coordination: Support logistical planning, marketing materials preparation, and post-event follow-up for industry trade shows.
CRM & Operations
- CRM administration: Maintain accurate customer interaction records and update basic lead information and data collection in Salesforce.
- Marketing operations: Update the marketing content calendar, document processes, and organize creative assets in internal folders.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in a combined B2B marketing, inside sales, or sales support role, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial equipment sectors.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of digital marketing and CRM tools, including Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress, Canva, Google Analytics, and GSuite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, telephone, and video conference communication skills, with a proven ability to manage customer relationships.
- Work Style: Organized, self-directed, and capable of balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and oral); fluency in French is an asset
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Regular full-time hours (37.5 hours per week), 3 days in office per week
- Possible travel to trade shows or industry events

55,000 - 65,000 CAD per year(Purity Gas HQ)
