Job Description
Job Summary:
The LPN is responsible and accountable to the Patient Care Manager and/or Program Director. Demonstrates ability to take patient referrals, physician orders, and scheduling of patients. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care as appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to read data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Has ability to act as member of the telehealth clinical team as assigned. May perform office duties including intake of referrals, answering office phones, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills
Graduate of a recognized non-online LPN program. .
Work Experience:
Work experience required. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
- Licensed LPN able to practice within the State of MS
- Valid Drivers License
Proof of automobile insurance
Additional Certification/Licensure - Obtained based on required timeframe below
- Basic Life Support
Within 30 Days of Employment
