Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a People Programs & Recruiting Lead in United States.
This role sits at the heart of a fast-scaling People function, combining strategic program design with hands-on recruiting execution. You will be responsible for building foundational people processes while ensuring the company continues to hire exceptional talent during a high-growth phase. Acting as both a builder and operator, you will design and launch key initiatives such as performance reviews, onboarding experiences, and employee engagement programs. At the same time, you will own full-cycle recruiting, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and close top candidates. This is a highly cross-functional role where structure is still being defined, offering the opportunity to shape how people operations evolve from the ground up. You will work closely with leadership to create scalable systems that improve employee experience, hiring quality, and organizational effectiveness.
You will play a central role in shaping and scaling both People programs and recruiting operations, ensuring the organization builds strong foundations for sustainable growth. This includes designing and launching core HR initiatives while maintaining a high-performing hiring engine.
- Design and implement key People programs, including performance review cycles, employee engagement surveys, onboarding experiences, and manager development initiatives
- Build and maintain internal People resources and documentation systems to centralize policies, FAQs, and employee tools
- Partner with leadership to translate engagement and performance data into actionable organizational improvements
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, from job definition and sourcing to interview coordination and offer negotiation
- Own and optimize recruiting operations, including administration and configuration of the ATS (Ashby), scheduling, and candidate experience
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including career page improvements and candidate-facing storytelling
You bring a strong blend of People operations expertise and recruiting experience, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, evolving environment. You are comfortable building systems from scratch while managing day-to-day execution with precision.
- Proven experience in People Operations, HR programs, and full-cycle recruiting in fast-paced environments
- Strong ability to design and launch HR programs such as onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives
- Hands-on experience managing ATS platforms (preferably Ashby) and recruiting operations end-to-end
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams
- Comfort working in ambiguous, high-growth environments with evolving structures and priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Interest in leveraging modern tools and AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
- Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000, plus meaningful equity opportunities
- Fully remote work environment with annual company-wide retreats
- Opportunity to work closely with senior People leadership in a high-impact, strategic role
- Strong emphasis on autonomy, ownership, and building foundational People systems from the ground up
- Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on improving care and employee experience
- Comprehensive benefits package designed to support health and well-being
- Inclusive and flexible work environment that supports diverse backgrounds and working styles
