This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Scientist – Innovation based in India.
This role sits at the intersection of data science, media analytics, and product innovation, focused on transforming large-scale datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions across digital, mobile, OTT, and TV ecosystems. You will work on complex analytical problems, building models and performing hypothesis testing to uncover trends that shape product offerings and client strategies. The position has high visibility, supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients, including sales and product teams. You will also contribute to innovation initiatives by helping design new data-driven solutions and enhancing existing measurement capabilities. Operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will engage with cross-functional teams across geographies. The role offers the opportunity to influence how media consumption is measured and understood at scale.
In this role, you will lead data investigations end-to-end, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and insight-driven analytical solutions. You will collaborate closely with analysts, client insights teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute projects efficiently and support client-facing initiatives. You will take ownership of analytical research, performing hypothesis testing, modeling, and deep-dive analysis to generate meaningful insights. The role includes supporting sales through feasibility assessments and data-driven recommendations while contributing to product innovation efforts. You will also help streamline and automate analytical processes, improving scalability and efficiency. Additionally, you will serve as a key point of contact for data insights, ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency in delivered outputs.
- Lead end-to-end data investigations and analytical delivery
- Perform hypothesis testing, modeling, and advanced data analysis

This role requires a strong foundation in data science, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline, along with 2–4+ years of experience working with large datasets and analytical systems. You should be highly proficient in SQL and Python, with additional experience using tools such as JSON and advanced Excel for data manipulation and reporting. Strong analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset are essential, along with the ability to translate complex problems into structured technical approaches. Experience with cloud environments such as AWS is a plus, as is exposure to media measurement or digital analytics domains. You should be comfortable collaborating across global teams and communicating insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2–4+ years of experience in data analysis or data science roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel
- Experience working with large-scale or big data environments
- Knowledge of AWS or cloud-based technologies is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to media measurement is a plus
