Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (Estrella), Phoenix AZ
About Recovia: Recovia is a multidisciplinary team providing whole-person care for behavioral health, chronic pain, and substance use disorders. We combine medical, behavioral health, and physical therapy services to support sustainable recovery and better quality of life.
Position Overview: We’re looking for a full-time Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) to join our medical team.
- Monday–Friday, in-office
- No weekends, no on-call, no overnights
- New grads welcome - mentorship provided
Ideal candidates are confident, adaptable, and team-oriented with a passion for patient care. Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, pain management, primary care, or behavioral health is a plus but not required.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct medical evaluations and follow-up visits
- Create and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications for addiction treatment and minor behavioral health needs
- Collaborate closely with behavioral health providers, physical therapists, and the rest of the clinical team
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination
- Make meaningful change in your patients’ lives
Qualifications Required
- Active Arizona PA or NP license
- DEA license
- Ability to work on-site in Estrella, Monday–Friday
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in a collaborative, team-based setting
Preferred
- Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, psychiatry, pain management, or primary care
- Familiarity with MAT/MOUD, including buprenorphine
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
