REGIONAL MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to provide operational leadership and oversight for healthcare services in correctional facilities throughout the state of Kansas. Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Regional Manager assists in managing the overall clinical and non-clinical functions of multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective care delivery in a correctional environment.
This position serves as a key liaison between healthcare staff, facility administration, and corporate leadership, ensuring that all contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards are consistently met while fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach.

REGIONAL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership
- Provide oversight and evaluation of multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including medical, nursing, dental, mental health, technical, clerical, and support services.
- Support site-level Health Services Administrators and Site Administrators in recruiting, onboarding, training, supervising, coaching, and counseling staff.
- Coordinate and oversee annual employee performance evaluations.
- Monitor staffing levels, operational performance, and program effectiveness across assigned facilities.
- Ensure regular staff meetings are conducted and documented appropriately.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Coordinate and oversee Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs and performance audits.
- Ensure corrective action plans are implemented and monitored following audits and CQI reviews.
- Review and evaluate treatment practices, administrative procedures, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies, including HIPAA requirements.
- Promote adherence to NCCHC and ACA healthcare standards and best practices.
- Serve as a primary liaison between healthcare operations and correctional facility leadership.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, concerns, and operational issues raised by correctional administrators and contract stakeholders.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with security staff, healthcare personnel, and institutional leadership.
Clinical and Administrative Oversight
- Monitor and advise staff regarding clinical and facility procedures, protocols, and performance expectations.
- Ensure patient care is delivered ethically, professionally, and in a nonjudgmental manner that respects patient dignity, autonomy, and rights.
- Ensure grievances and patient concerns receive timely and clinically appropriate responses.
- Provide updates to senior leadership regarding staffing, performance metrics, quality initiatives, compliance, legal matters, and budgetary concerns.
REGIONAL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, Health and Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, Nursing, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Administrator, Regional Manager, or supervisor of healthcare or behavioral health programs preferred.
- Experience within correctional healthcare, behavioral health, hospital operations, or public health environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Licenses & Certifications
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current tuberculosis screening documentation required.
- Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and obtain facility security clearance.
