This is a senior, high-impact marketing role focused on shaping how developers in India discover, understand, and adopt cutting-edge AI technologies. You will lead the strategy for engaging technical audiences through credible storytelling, hands-on education, and ecosystem-driven programs that build long-term trust. The role sits at the intersection of product, developer relations, and growth, requiring strong technical empathy and the ability to translate global narratives into locally relevant execution. You will design and scale programs across developer communities, startups, events, and content channels. Working in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment, you will collaborate with global and regional teams to drive adoption and advocacy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguous, high-ownership settings and enjoys building from zero-to-one at scale.
You will be responsible for defining and executing the India developer marketing strategy, ensuring strong alignment between global priorities and local developer ecosystem needs. The role involves building scalable programs that improve awareness, education, adoption, and advocacy among technical audiences. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure developer trust and product relevance across all initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading India-focused developer marketing strategy across audiences, channels, cities, and product moments
- Designing and executing programs that drive developer awareness, education, adoption, and long-term engagement
- Translating global product launches into India-relevant narratives and activation strategies
- Partnering closely with Developer Relations and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and credibility
- Building scalable programs across content, developer events, hackathons, workshops, and community initiatives
- Supporting startup ecosystem initiatives where developer and founder audiences overlap, including technical founders and early-stage builders
- Developing ecosystem partnerships and community-led growth programs to strengthen developer engagement
- Establishing clear metrics, operating rhythms, and feedback loops for continuous improvement
- Gathering India market insights and feeding them into global strategy and product planning
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Growth, Partnerships, and APAC teams
This role requires deep experience in developer-facing marketing and a strong understanding of technical ecosystems, particularly in the India market. You should be comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels while influencing across global and regional stakeholders. Key requirements include:
- 10+ years of experience in developer marketing, technical marketing, product marketing, or ecosystem marketing for developer platforms
- Proven success building marketing programs for technical audiences such as developers, engineers, or builders
- Experience leading India or multi-city go-to-market initiatives across content, events, education, and community programs
- Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, cloud platforms, or AI-driven technologies
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Product, DevRel, Growth, and Partnerships teams
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with strong prioritization skills
- Experience balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution
- Deep understanding of how developer trust and product adoption are built over time
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred in marketing, engineering, or related fields)
