Job Description

Product & Experience Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product & Experience Designer based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of product design, service design, and experience strategy, focused on creating intuitive, human-centered solutions for complex healthcare journeys. You will work across the full lifecycle of product development—from discovery and research through to delivery and iteration—helping shape both digital products and broader care experiences. Operating in a highly collaborative, distributed environment, you will partner closely with product, engineering, clinical, operations, data, and marketing teams to translate complex needs into clear, usable, and accessible experiences. The work spans product interfaces, end-to-end journey mapping, design systems, and brand touchpoints, with a strong emphasis on real-world impact. This is a generalist design role with significant ownership, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving deeply meaningful problems in a fast-moving environment. You will also actively leverage modern AI-enabled workflows to accelerate exploration, iteration, and delivery.

Accountabilities:

Own and evolve end-to-end product and experience design across digital healthcare products, ensuring clarity, usability, and cohesion across all user touchpoints.

  • Lead design work from discovery through delivery for web and mobile product initiatives.
  • Translate complex user, clinical, and business needs into intuitive workflows, interfaces, and interaction patterns.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate design decisions and inform iterations.
  • Map end-to-end service and product experiences to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to align on solutions.
  • Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability across products.
  • Support brand and marketing design initiatives to ensure a cohesive experience across product and communication touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation and design fidelity.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a versatile product designer with strong systems thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple domains in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

  • 3–5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or experience design roles.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience creating detailed design artifacts including user flows, wireframes, journey maps, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Ability to translate complex, multi-stakeholder problems into simple, usable, and accessible design solutions.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in fast-paced or startup-like environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Experience designing cohesive experiences across multiple products or platforms is highly valuable.
  • Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, and iterative product development is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare or other complex, regulated environments is advantageous.
  • Comfort using AI tools to support ideation, iteration, and workflow efficiency.
Benefits:
  • Salary range: $120,000 – $140,000/year + equity + benefits
  • Remote-first work environment across the United States
  • Opportunity to design impactful experiences that improve healthcare access and outcomes for complex patient populations
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, clinical, engineering, and operations teams
  • Exposure to end-to-end product, service, and brand design work
  • Culture focused on empathy, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Commitment to accessibility, health equity, and inclusive design practices
