Senior Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, and supply chain optimization within a global, high-performance consulting environment. You will be responsible for supporting data-driven procurement initiatives that help organizations improve efficiency, reduce costs, and unlock value across their supplier ecosystems. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to analyze spend, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver actionable insights. You will work on both strategic and operational procurement activities, ranging from category analysis and should-cost modeling to procurement execution and performance tracking. The environment is fast-paced and highly analytical, requiring strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with large datasets and multiple stakeholders. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will support end-to-end procurement and sourcing initiatives, combining analytics, strategy, and operational execution to drive measurable business value. You will:

  • Conduct spend analysis, forecasting, and consolidation to support strategic procurement decisions
  • Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) and should-cost models using advanced Excel and data analytics techniques
  • Support end-to-end sourcing processes including requirements gathering, RFx development, supplier evaluation, and negotiations
  • Contribute to category strategy development through benchmarking of spend, suppliers, and industry best practices
  • Track procurement performance including budgets, savings realization, and value delivery metrics
  • Manage procurement operations such as purchase requisition to purchase order conversion and change order processing
  • Maintain dashboards and reports on supplier performance, KPIs, SLAs, and risk indicators
  • Support procurement systems and tools including SAP, Ariba, Coupa, and other P2P platforms
  • Assist in client reporting, process improvement initiatives, and data optimization efforts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across levels while ensuring high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision
Requirements:

This role requires strong analytical capabilities combined with hands-on procurement or supply chain experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You should bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or consulting roles within large or global organizations
  • Strong expertise in financial and data analysis, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, charts, modeling)
  • Experience working with Procure-to-Pay systems such as Ariba, Coupa, or SAP
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes including RFx development, supplier evaluation, and negotiations
  • Strong understanding of spend analysis, cost modeling, and procurement performance tracking
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and adapt to different organizational environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Experience across procurement categories such as IT, logistics, CAPEX, MRO, or professional services is a plus
