Technical Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Project Manager based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex technology initiatives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and product owners to define priorities, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of solutions. The position requires strong Agile expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. It is well-suited for an experienced project leader who thrives in remote environments and can bring structure, clarity, and accountability to complex technical programs while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality objectives are consistently met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align on project goals and execution plans.
  • Drive Agile ceremonies and practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Define project roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Serve as the primary communication bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular status updates and executive-level reporting.
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, project efficiency, and team collaboration.
  • Support requirement gathering and translate business needs into actionable technical tasks.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to project governance standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of overall experience in the IT industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager on technical or software development projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card holder status required.
