Job Description
Position Summary
As the Financial Counselor, under the direction of the Director of Patient Access and/or coordinator, you will assist the uninsured and underinsured patient population in applying for public assistance programs. Ensure that all necessary information is collected and verified prior to billing.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- CAC certified/willing to get CAC certified
- Computer experience.
- Weekends and holidays may be required
Preferred:
- English/Spanish bilingual
