Accountabilities:

Design, develop, and maintain SAP BTP-based applications and automation solutions using SAP UI5, Fiori, SAP Build, and related technologies.
Build and customize Fiori applications using Fiori Elements, Smart Controls, and annotations across frontend and backend layers.
Develop and integrate cloud applications using JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python within SAP BTP environments.
Implement and manage integrations with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and external systems using REST and OData APIs.
Configure and manage SAP BTP services including Cloud Foundry runtime, security (XSUAA), Connectivity, and Destination services.
Ensure code quality and DevOps best practices using GitHub or GitLab, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and version control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on SAP BTP development experience with strong software engineering and coding expertise.
Strong proficiency in SAP UI5, Fiori, SAP Build (Process Automation, Build Apps, Work Zone), and workflow development.
Solid experience in cloud development languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture, Cloud Foundry runtime, and core platform services.
Experience integrating SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) and non-SAP systems using APIs and integration tools.
Proficiency with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP BTP Cockpit, and Visual Studio Code.
Experience with security concepts such as XSUAA, Connectivity, and Destination services.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and DevOps practices.
Nice to have: SAP CAP (Node.js), CDS modeling, SAP Integration Suite, API Management, SAP IAS/IPS, and enterprise identity providers (e.g., Okta).
Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to work in agile, cross-functional engineering teams.
