The 2nd Shift Assembler (Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of products during second shift operations.

This position is responsible for interpreting assembly instructions, handling components, and assembling parts to meet quality and production standards. The Assembler contributes to maintaining a smooth workflow by adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with team members to meet production targets.

Attention to detail and consistency are essential to prevent defects and ensure customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role supports the manufacturing process by delivering assembled products that meet company specifications and deadlines.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documents
  • Basic hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work assigned shift consistently
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic machinery
  • Basic understanding of quality control processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and parts according to instructions and blueprints
  • Inspect assembled products for quality and accuracy, identifying defects or issues
  • Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
  • Support resolution of assembly-related challenges during production
Skills

Manual dexterity and the ability to follow detailed instructions are essential for assembling components accurately and maintaining product quality. Attention to detail helps identify defects early and reduce rework.

Experience with hand tools and familiarity with quality control processes can improve efficiency and overall output. Strong communication and teamwork skills support effective collaboration on the production floor, while physical stamina ensures consistent performance throughout the shift.
