The Life Enrichment Lead reports directly to the Activities Director and plays a key hands-on leadership role in carrying

out the established activities and life enrichment program throughout the community.

This position is ideal for someone who is an incredible cheerleader, organizer, motivator, and team lead - someone who

loves working with seniors and can turn a normal day into something residents look forward to.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out the established day-to-day activities program throughout the community.

• Work directly under the Activities Director to ensure activities, events, schedules, and department expectations are

• Help oversee and coordinate Activity Aide staff, including daily assignments, activity coverage, cleaning

responsibilities, side work, setup, and breakdown.

• Assist with maintaining and coordinating the monthly activity calendar and daily activity schedule.

• Lead and participate in daily resident activities, games, social programs, entertainment, outings, and special events.

• Help plan, organize, decorate, set up, execute, and clean up community events.

• Take an active leadership role in Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Happy Hours.

• Help coordinate and execute major holiday celebrations and special community events throughout the year.

• Help recognize and celebrate Assisted Living Week, as well as fun national and international recognition days.

• Encourage resident participation and create an environment where residents feel welcomed, included, and excited to

participate.

• Maintain organized activity spaces, supplies, storage areas, equipment, and department materials.

• Assist with communication and coordination between the Activities Department and other departments within the

community.

• Jump in wherever needed to help ensure programs and events are carried out successfully from beginning to end.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Positive, outgoing, creative, and enthusiastic

• Highly organized and dependable

• Comfortable taking the lead and giving direction when needed

• A strong team player who can manage multiple activities, events, and responsibilities

• Creative with games, parties, decorations, themes, and resident engagement

• Comfortable speaking in front of groups and encouraging participation

• Compassionate and patient when working with seniors

• Willing to be hands-on with setup, decorating, cleaning, moving supplies, and helping wherever needed

• Someone who takes pride in creating an active, welcoming, and fun community

Full Time

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk position. We are looking for someone who wants to be out in the community, interacting

always something to look forward to.

If you are a natural cheerleader, organizer, and leader who loves bringing people together, we would love to meet

you!
