Job Description:
ELLKAY is seeking an experienced, consultative new business sales professional to develop pipeline and win opportunities for our healthcare data, clean lab order, and interoperability solutions. The Healthcare Data Sales Representative will manage the full sales cycle, build trusted relationships, and translate complex data challenges into clear business value. This is a quota carrying role with uncapped commission, focused on the Florida market. The position may be remote or based at ELLKAY's New Jersey headquarters and requires travel within the territory as needed.
The successful candidate will have a record of engaging CIOs and other C suite leaders, as well as information technology, operations, and revenue cycle stakeholders across commercial laboratories, reference laboratories, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts for ELLKAY's healthcare data and interoperability solutions.
- Create and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly territory and account plans that support pipeline growth and revenue goals.
- Build a consistent prospecting cadence and maintain a healthy pipeline across target healthcare and laboratory accounts.
- Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce; participate in weekly sales meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Develop a strong understanding of ELLKAY's solutions, customer use cases, competitive position, and relevant healthcare data and market trends.
- Engage executive, technical, operational, and financial stakeholders to understand their priorities, workflows, and data challenges.
- Lead effective discovery sessions, solution presentations, and demonstrations in person and through virtual channels.
- Prepare proposals, respond promptly to customer requests, and negotiate commercial terms in partnership with legal and internal leadership.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance goals.
- Coordinate with account management, channel partners, product leaders, technical subject matter experts, marketing, and sales support throughout the sales process.
- Manage the transition of new customers to implementation and operations teams, ensuring a clear and organized handoff.
- Maintain long term customer relationships and help coordinate internal resources when issues require escalation.
- Represent ELLKAY at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of successful sales experience with healthcare software, healthcare data or integration solutions, laboratory information systems, revenue cycle services, or comparable technology offerings.
- A demonstrated history of achieving annual commercial sales targets of more than $1 million and the ability to make an immediate impact on growth.
- Experience selling to or managing strategic accounts in the laboratory, hospital, or broader healthcare market.
- Working knowledge of healthcare data exchange, interoperability, integration workflows, or related technology concepts.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles and building relationships with C suite, information technology, operations, and revenue cycle decision makers.
- Success in team based selling and in using product, technical, implementation, and account management experts to support discovery and solution demonstrations.
- Strong prospecting, communication, presentation, negotiation, forecasting, and account planning skills.
- Experience using Salesforce or a comparable customer relationship management platform.
- Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, onsite presentations, and industry events.

Compensation range: $80,000 - $100,000
